About the event
Join our peaceful protest as we march to St Mary's Church (Ecclesfield) from Chapeltown & Grenoside.
We’re marching to raise awareness of the proposed destruction of our greenbelt land. This is a peaceful, non-political protest and everyone is welcome to join – for the full route or just a part of it. You can even show your support from your doorstep as we pass.
We'll be walking past several greenbelt sites under threat from development, ending together at St Mary’s Church grounds, Ecclesfield, where we must leave by 12 noon.
