Objections Submitted to Sheffield City Council Ahead of Planning Inspectorate Review

4 May 2026

On Monday 4th May, we submitted our formal objections to Sheffield City Council ahead of the Planning Inspectorate process, in alignment with our fellow members of the Sheffield Green Belt Alliance, who also submitted numerous documents setting out the Alliance's case across a range of planning, environmental, and strategic concerns.

Our submission includes a comprehensive community response alongside detailed evidence compiled on a site-by-site basis, incorporating independent transport assessments.

Together, these submissions represent a substantial body of evidence from local residents and campaigners, and will now be forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate as part of the formal examination process.
