Preserving Our Greenbelt Together
Save Chapeltown, Ecclesfield & Grenoside's Greenbelt is a grassroots campaign united by one goal:
To protect our local greenbelt from destructive development.
We support a brownfield-first strategy and urge Sheffield City Council to rethink the current plan.

Together, we aim to build city-wide support to protect our green spaces and stop the destruction of greenbelt in the Sheffield Plan.
Mission
We are a community developed & led campaign, focused on protecting the greenbelt land across Chapeltown, Ecclesfield and Grenoside.
These areas, and neighbouring communities in S5, S6 and the wider S35 area, face serious impacts if development goes ahead.

We stand alongside others across Sheffield fighting to preserve greenbelt land, and we believe building on greenbelt land is not necessary.
